Healthteam Advantage Certification for 2017

This is a brand new program for 2017. It doesn’t matter if you have certified last year, you are going to register as a NEW AGENT (ONLY EXCEPTION is if you have already done 2017 with another carrier and they used Gorman as well and then you can use your existing username and password. DO NOT use the username and password from last year or attempt to log in with social….it won’t work.

In addition to the E&O and AHIP, CMS requires that you upload a CMS Compliance Training certificate as well as a FWA certificate. PLEASE NOTE: Even if you took that module through AHIP website, those certificates are not accepted. When you get to those steps, if you do have a certificate you think might work, you can click on the HELP and it will show you what the certificate looks like. If it is not the same, DO NOT attempt to upload. It will get rejected. I strongly suggest just doing the modules through Gorman so that you don’t have to upload anything and it is fairly quick.

On the license step, if it seems like you are stuck early on in the process and it is not doing anything, close out and wait for an hour. It is doing the license check and if you are licensed for many items, it can take quite a while.

Once the modules are through, your uploads will still need to be approved by Gorman or the plan, so you will not immediately show in a READY TO SELL status. Don’t panic. Just try back the next day and see. This certification requires a little patience.
