The first portion of the 2018 SilverScript certifications are now available. AHIP is not required by SilverScript, however you may submit your results to them and receive credit for the applicable courses.
The applicable and available courses are:​
- Medicare Overview for Contracted Agents
- Compliance Course for Contracted Agents
- CMS Required Compliance and FWA Training
If you do not intend to take the 2018 AHIP, you can now complete all the courses listed above to start your 2018 SilverScript Training and Certification.
To submit your 2018 AHIP to SilverScript, please follow these steps:
- You can transmit your 2018 AHIP results directly to SilverScript here: http://www.ahipmedicaretraining.com/clients/silverscript All you need to do is log in to this site. By logging in, it will initiate the transfer of your AHIP test results to SilverScript…you will not get a confirmation or see SilverScript listed as a carrier on the page after you log in. SilverScript will update your profile in 2-3 days
- After that, you do not need to do anything else at this time. We will notify you when the 2018 Products and Process course and Certification for Agents are available to complete your certifications
If you are not going to take the 2018 AHIP, you will need to take all of the courses offered and required by SilverScript which can be access by following these instructions:
- Log into the SilverScript Agent Portal: www.SilverScriptAgentPortal.com
- Click on ‘Training and Certification’ from the main menu in the Agent Portal, scroll to the very bottom of the page and look for the RED button that says ‘CLICK HERE to access online training’. This will redirect you to the CourseMill site where you need to click on the GREEN box in the top left corner to have the courses drop down, then click on the BLUE box next to each of the 2018 courses: Medicare Overview for Agents, Compliance Course for Agents, and CMS Compliance and FWA Training
- SilverScript provides Reference Materials for each of the courses for you to utilize while taking each test. The Reference Materials are attached for your convenience
- After that, you do not need to do anything else at this time. We will notify you when the 2018 Products and Process course and Certification for Agents are available to complete your certifications
Also, if you have not yet completed your 2017 certifications and want to be able to sell for the remainder of the year, your 2018 AHIP will give you credit for the 2017 applicable courses as well. You would just need to also complete the 2017 Products and Process course and Certification for Agents to be ready to sell.
