Thank you for an outstanding annual enrollment period and to let you know there are still opportunities to learn more about through December 31. There is a 2022 special enrollment period due to Hurricane Ian.

If you live in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia. Individuals living in those areas who did not make an election during AEP can make one election between now and December 31.

2022 Special Enrollment Period:  Take action before the clock runs out

This is not an extension of the annual enrollment period which was from October 15 through December 7. If someone made selections during that time frame, they are not eligible to use the special enrollment period for the hurricane.

If they did not and you get the opportunity to meet with them, you can use SEP DST. Enroll them for a January 1 effective date.

Taking care of clients during the 2022 Special Enrollment Period

As an agent, we are responsible to take care of our clients and those that call us. However, we are not allowed to advertise this, and we ask that you do not put this out on social media. During this SEP, you can still enroll clients, but we advise that you don't it sing from the rooftops.

We want to make sure to do this the right way and remember that big brother is always watching.

Quick Tip

Agents are not allowed to advertise or market this special enrollment period to consumers.

This is a huge opportunity for a lot of agents to wrap up 2022. While enjoying time during the holidays, it is important to remember that there are business opportunities to take advantage of.

As always, we wish you the best out there and if you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 888-622-9122. We are happy to go into further detail.
