FirstCarolinaCare is proud to offer Medicare Advantage and Part D plans through FirstMedicareDirect. They strive to offer the member the freedom to choose her or his physician/provider each time she or he needs care for a covered service. The member can see a network primary care provider for a designated co-payment, or an out-of-network provider and pay out-of-pocket with the amount applied toward the deductible.

FirstCarolinaCare will be launching online certifications beginning September 1. After completing the necessary paperwork and sending copies of your license and E&O coverage, FirstMedicare Direct will inform you of our required plan specific training schedule prior to the Annual Enrollment Period.
You will be required to take a quiz to test your knowledge of FirstMedicare Direct plans and rules presented at training. You must score 85% to pass the quiz. Visit their Get Certified page to learn more.
