Get Certified with Meridian
In order to get certified to sell MeridianCare, agents must first log in to the agent portal and complete the form titled "Form: 2018 Meridian Welcome Form." This form explains the steps to becoming certified as well as allow you to choose the states in which you wish to certify. Next, agents must sign the agent agreement followed by a background check consent.
An Errors & Omissions Attestation must be completed next, followed by an overview of MeridianCare's Fraud, Waste, & Abuse.
The next step is AHIP/Core Training. You will have the option to upload the AHIP Medicare + Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training certificate by selecting "yes" or to take Gorman's Core Medicare 101 Training for $95 by selecting "no."
If you selected "yes," the next step will be to upload the AHIP certificate. If you chose "no" and wish to take the Gorman Medicare 101 Core training, you will pay for the training and complete each lesson. Once you have completed each lesson, you can take the exam. You will have 3 attempts to take the test with a passing score of 90%.
The last steps are to complete and/or upload the CMS Compliance & FWA Attestation and complete Online Certification Attestation/State Specific Training Programs
