An attractive product from a market leader

Mutual Dental Preferred fees are set at the 80th percentile of the typical service costs in the client's region. The client is responsible for covering any remaining balance owed to the dental provider.

With Mutual Dental Protection, the payment from Mutual of Omaha is restricted to the discounted fee schedule for in-network providers, allowing dentists to bill the client for any additional charges.

Vision Benefit Optional Rider

Clients are required to possess the dental insurance policy in order to acquire this rider. It offers a reimbursement advantage that covers:

  • Up to $50 each calendar year for a single eye exam (with no waiting period)
  • Up to $150 every two calendar years* for eyeglasses or contact lenses (following a six-month waiting period)

This option is not offered in Maryland and Washington.

Multi-Policy Dental Discount

Policyholders of Mutual of Omaha's dental plan, as well as those with a Medicare supplement policy from Mutual of Omaha or its affiliates, are eligible for a 15% discount on their dental premium if:

  • The dental application is signed on or after the date the Medicare supplement application is signed, and
  • It is completed within 30 days following the issuance date of the Medicare supplement policy.
