The Medicare Supplement landscape is evolving, and we're here to ensure you're up to date with the latest changes.
New Opportunities with Wellabe Starting February 1, 2025
Wellabe is excited to expand their Medicare Supplement offerings into new markets! Starting February 1, 2025, agents will be able to offer Medicare Supplement Plans A, F, High-deductible F, G, High-deductible G, and N in California, Maryland, and New Jersey. In addition to these plan expansions, Wellabe will introduce their highly successful accelerated underwriting process, giving agents a competitive edge.
Additionally, new accelerated underwriting and updated rates will roll out in the following states:
- Georgia
- Indiana
- Kentucky
- Ohio
- Texas
Virginia will also gain access to Wellabe’s accelerated underwriting process, though rates in the state will remain unchanged at this time.
Sales and marketing materials for these exciting new opportunities will soon be available on the agent portal and online storefront.
Wellabe Exiting Five States on December 30, 2024
On a different note, Wellabe has made the difficult decision to exit the Medicare Supplement market in the following states, effective December 30, 2024:
- Alabama
- Mississippi
- Oklahoma
- Utah
- West Virginia
This change impacts Medicare Supplement insurance only; all other Wellabe products in these states will remain available for agents to offer. Importantly, existing policyholders in these states will experience no disruption to their current coverage.
