Digital Media Specialist
Matthew was born and raised in the triangle area, coming from Cary, North Carolina. He attended Campbell University where he earned a degree in Journalism. He was the editor in chief of Campbell’s newspaper and worked in broadcasting with the Athletic department.
Matthew started working at TMG in December of 2022. He specializes in blog writing, website management, and social media content production. Prior to working at Tidewater, he gained knowledge and experience in the news industry, working with USA Today on a regional team.
“One of our core values is family, and it does feel like a family here. So, I really like working here” Matthew said when asked what his favorite part about working at TMG is.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys watching the Yankees and Hurricanes play or grabbing a cold brew with oak milk from Starbucks. A few of his favorite hobbies include shooting pool, playing golf, and spending time with his cat, Levi.
In the future, Matthew would love to travel to Italy and try out some authentic spaghetti and meatballs, his favorite food.
